With Gratitude and Excitement for a Musical Year Ahead
As we embark on the 2025-2026 program year, it is with deep gratitude and excitement that we welcome you to another season filled with music, fellowship, and community service. The strength and spirit of our Guild are built on the dedication and passion of those who give generously of their time and talents, and it is only fitting that we begin by offering our heartfelt thanks to the previous Music Guild Board Members and the many volunteers who have guided us so capably. Your unwavering commitment has left a lasting impact, ensuring that our mission continues to thrive and inspire.
This year, we are delighted to announce a series of luncheons designed to bring us together for camaraderie, conversation, and celebration. Please look for more information for our luncheons in Sept 2025, Dec 2025, Mar 2026 and May 2026. Each luncheon will offer unique opportunities to connect, share in our successes, and look ahead to the future of our Guild and its cherished traditions.
Our commitment to the next generation of music lovers remains a cornerstone of our mission. We are especially excited to once again escort youth to the New Mexico Philharmonic concerts on Sept 16 & 18 and April 14 & 16, 2026. The Jackie McGehee Young Artists' Competition Feb 20-21, 2026 will provide volunteers an upfront seat to a piano and string concerto competition for young musicians in our state. In May 2026, we will present our MGNM Senoritas, who have participated in the Senorita Program which focuses on personal growth and community service to prepare young ladies for college and adult life.
These experiences not only foster a deep appreciation for music in young lives but also create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We look forward to partnering with our members and volunteers to make these outings truly special. Whether through fundraising, outreach, or hands-on involvement, your participation makes all the difference. Together, we will continue to advocate for youth engagement, support local artists, and celebrate the power of music to unite and uplift.
Thank you for your passion, your generosity, your belief in our shared mission, and especially your membership renewal!!
