It has been our privilege to offer New Mexico’s talented young musicians a platform from which to compete for monetary awards, scholarships, and a venue to highlight their artistry with the New Mexico Philharmonic.
Performance is an integral part of a musician’s life. Competitions offer students the opportunity to improve their technical and artistic skills as part of their professional development.

Legacy Donor
As the competition looks toward celebrating its 30th anniversary, Jackie has been thinking about the next 30 years. In the front of her mind is how can we best ensure that young New Mexico musicians have the opportunity to participate in a top class competition and to further their musical talent? This issue of legacy is first and foremost on her mind.
Knowing there are many in our community committed to our young New Mexico musicians, Jackie added a new “Legacy Donor” sponsor category.
A Legacy Donor makes a five-year commitment of $5,000 each year. The award designation will be crafted to the donor’s preference. Contact Jackie or have anyone you know who may be interested do so for more information about becoming a Legacy Donor.
